Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh string beans washed and trimmed
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • salt/pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
  • Place string beans in a large bowl with the garlic.
  • Sprinkle smoked paprika, rosemary, salt, and pepper over top.
  • Drizzle the maple syrup over the beans and mix together.
  • Lay string beans on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  • In a small skillet, add almond and toast for up to 5 minutes. Make sure you stay with them to prevent them from burning.
  • Remove string beans and drizzle a bit more maple syrup and sprinkle almonds on top.
  • Serve and enjoy!
